Stakeholders Engagement
In sustaining the effectiveness of the ecoCare project, continued involvement and engagement with diverse stakeholder groups comprising conservationists, local communities and authorities, OPTIMAL employees, researchers as well as environmental educators remain a priority. Through their engagement and participation in support of a common purpose, mangroves along the Kertih River will be continuously monitored and protected.
Another critical stakeholder for ecoCare is the National Technical Committee for Mangrove Replanting and Coastal Vegetation which forms as the governing body for all rehabilitation work in the country.
